"Hey Vlad, I heard your dad came back." October said to Vladimir as they got their stuff from their lockers, "I thought he died."
"I thought so too. But he said he servived in some odd way. He can't remember but I know it's my dad he has a burn on his right arm and a small scare on his left wrist."
"Awsome way to know." They smiled at one another and Henry dragged Etzio up to them.
"LET GO OF ME HENRY!"
"Nuh-uh untill you tell Sprat how you feel." Rick came stomping up grabbing Etzio's arm and yanked Henry's hand off. They all staired in disbelief and Rick sighed.
"Next time Henry don't be grabbing at my master's wrist." Then they walked off to class. They all dropped their jaws and couldn't believe what they just saw.
"S-So your cousin has one too...?" The raven haired girl asked. Vlad nodded.
"That's Rick. He's pretty protective of her."
"Maybe Rick likes Nina."
"Maybe. We better get to class we'll get bitten into little peices if we don't." Henry didn't miss his cue.
"Or you'd bite the teacher into little bits." They laughed and headed to first period. Second period was SUPER fun. Otis said after Halloween they'd learn about vampires. Wearwolves were already taught so it's time to continue with the spooky unit. Etzio, Vlad, and October sat in the mid row. While Sprat, Rick and Henry sat a row before. Otis turned to the class and smiled.
"Okay. I know I have a few students that were in my class in the the 8th grade. Who wern't in my class that year tell me what comes to mind if you hear vampires?" A student rose her hand, "Yes?"
"Sparkles?" The class laughed. Especilly Vlad and Etzio. Otis calmed the class down as the girl sunk in her seat.
"It's nothing to be embarussed about Kaily. Yes Twilight do have sparkling vampires but true vampires don't sparkle. They actually burst into a flame."
"Been there, done that." Vlad rolledh is eyes. Meaning seeing D'Ablo burn to a crisp(Read 10th grade bleeds). Otis continued his lesson.
"How do you kill a head vampire?" Another student rose their hand, "Yes?"
"Like how the movie Ven Helsing said, with a wearwolf." The student said confidently.
"Yes that is true. Wearwolves are the only kind of supernatual creature that can kill a vampire. In the history of wearwolves they had no succsess. Oh! Inspeaking of that movie we will watch it at the end of the Vampire unit." The class cheered and Otis smiled. Clearly he enjoyed teaching this class. He reached into his bag and pulled out a cross, "Now. They say that crusifics can kill a vampire correct? Who would like to demistrate that?" Etizo's arm shot streight up, "Nina come up." She nodded and got out of her seat. She trotted over and took the cross from Otis and she screamed. Making everyone jump. Otis almost had a heart attack thinking it was real.
"GAHH! IT BURNS AHH!" Etzio fell to the ground and Otis rose an eye brow. Everyone stood and Vlad was consurned. Was that really true? Etzio sat up and laughed, "Got ya!" The vampires in the room sighed while the class laughed, "Sorry for scaring the living day lights out of you."
"Etzio you gave me a heart attack!"
"Papa calm down I'm fine you said demistrate it."
"I know just don't do that agian."
Durring Lunch....
"Vladimir! There you are!"
"Dad what are you doing here?!" Vlad whispered to his father and Tomas blinked. He held up a bag of McDonalds and smiled.
"Did you feed yet?"
"Snow lets me feed off of her sometimes. I just did why?"
"Vlad THIS is your dad?!" October asked standing up. Tomas looked over. Looking like an adult verson of Vlad. He smiled warmly and nodded.
"Yes. Sorry for not intruducing myself I'm Tomas Tod. Vladimir's father." The girls in the group blushed while the boys(Exsept Vlad, Rick, and Henry) rolled their eyes at the 'show off'.
"Show what's in there?" Vlad asked and Tomas reached in and handed handed a Big mach, "HOLLY CRAP DAD!"(A/N: Reason why some characters eat McDonalds in my fics cause I like that restuant thank you -3-;; just an FYI). After lunch and having a fun time with Tomas, Vlad threw away the bag and looked at his father.
"So... You heading out agian?" Tomas looked over and smiled.
"Have to go help Nelly get the crib from our basment."
"CRIB?!" Vlad asked shocked.
"What crib?" Otis asked walking up. The two 'look-alikes' jumped and blinked. Tomas soon lauged and wrapped an arm around Otis.
"My brother you'll be a father."
"A WHAT?!" Otis asked shocked. Tomas poked at Otis's chest.
"You. Nelly. No protection. Father. Mother. Chid." Tomas pointed to Vlad for an example. Vlad blinked and laughed. Otis thought he lost his pusle at what Tomas said.
"Well atleast you haven't changed one bit. You still have the acsent though."
"I DO NOT!" Tomas growled and Otis laughed. Vlad smiled watching his father and uncle have their fun. Vlad soon headed to class again. Same with Otis and Tomas went to help Nelly with the crib.
At home....
"Uncle Tomas!" Etzio called as she came down stairs, "Have you seen my boots?" She asked, "I asked papa and mom(she calls Nelly that now) and I can't find them." Tomas looked up carring a box with all of Vlad's old baby things. He rose an eye brow looking at his neice's outfit.
"Where you going if you don't mind me asking."
"The Cryspt. It's this goth club that Vlad goes to he and his friends are ganna pick me up. Either that or papa better start teaching me how to drive that old ford of his." Tomas laughed and shook his head.
"Your how old."
"218!"
"You should know."
"HEY! When your papa's kid you still have strict prohimids!"
"Prohimids?"
"Don't ask that's what Otis says." Tomas laughed and carried the boxes to his car.
"I can teach you and Vlad sooner or later. But right now I have to get these to Nelly." Etzio nodded and she looked over and sighed zipping up her conver-like boots over her tights. A black car with all the kids that were going drove up. Vlad popped his head out of the passanger seat and smiled.
"Hey dad."
"Oh so your going too?"
"Yeah. It's 'everyone's free' night it's what they have after every Halloween." Tomas laughed shaking his head.
"Your growing up to fast."
"I guess so. Arn't you?"
"Being vampire and all?" Henry asked from the back seat and Tomas narrowed his eyes, "WHAT?! We all know we just didn't tell anyone else."
"We don't tell anyone we crossed our hearts hope to die stick a stake in our eyes." Tomas sighed releaved that Vlad's friends would keep the secret. But more to less glad they were safe from D'Ablo.... For now.
"Well I'm glad your not telling anyone and 'a stake in our eye'?" He asked crossing his arms.
"I THOUGT OF IT!" Etzio called from the front porch.
"Go figure..." Tomas sighed, "Well all of you be carefull aright?" He asked as Rick and Etzio went int the van.
"We will dad. Promoise." Vlad smiled and as the car drove out he shouted something Tomas was longing to hear from his son, "LOVE YOU DAD!" And they drove off. Tomas sighed and smiled. He was glad he came back all the way fron Japan(That's where he hid lol xD). Now here he is. Seeing how much his son grown to look like him. And hearing his son say something they both wanted to hear.
"Love you too son." Tomas replied to Vlad's thoughts and he continued packing the car with all of Vlad's old things. He then sratched his head, "Maybe I should get that old photo ablum of when Vlad was a baby....."
